ADVANCED CORRECTIVE PEEL
The SkinCeuticals Advanced Corrective Peel is a medically-exclusive clinical treatment for comprehensive texture refinement and discoloration improvement. This customizable treatment is a concentrated blend of 10% phenylethyl resorcinol, 14% salicylic acid, and 14% lactic acid.

10% Phenylethyl Resorcinol
Utilized as a phenolic skin brightening agent that helps diminish the appearance of pigmentation for improvement in long-term skin tone and radiance.
14% Salicylic Acid
Penetrates deeper into pores to act both as a keratolytic and comedolytic agent, causing cells of the epidermis to shed more readily. This works effectively on signs of post-inflammatory pigmentation and signs of photodamage.
14% Lactic Acid
Reacts with the upper layers of the epidermis, diminishing cellular cohesions between corneocytes at the lowest levels of the stratum corneum. It is also hygroscopic, and naturally attracts water to impart a hydrating and plumping effect.
USAGE AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Comprehensive Indications:

Advanced Corrective Peel Treatments should be performed 4 weeks apart for a series of 4 peels.

To minimize peel downtime at least 2 hours after treatment:

APPLICATION
Apply even layer of ADVANCED CORRECTIVE PEEL solution with rough gauze. Begin with the forehead and cover the entire face with an even layer of peel solution ending at the chin. Wait 3–5 minutes.* This treatment can be customized by adding additional layers, not exceeding 5 ml, to achieve uniform erythema based on patient’s desired results and tolerance for downtime.**
Do not apply solution to areas where patient has developed the following skin reactions: • Excessive burning, redness, or itching
• Level II frosting (white-coated frosting with strong erythema)

EXPECTED DOWNTIME
IMMEDIATELY:
• Mild heat sensations and discomfort.
DAY 1-2:
• Mild redness, tightness, and dryness.
• Potential temporary darkening of surface pigmentation.
DAY 3+:
• Mild flaking and peeling starts. This should subside by day 6.
IMMEDIATELY:
• Mild to moderate heat sensations and discomfort.
DAY 1-2:
• Mild to moderate redness, tightness, and dryness.
• Temporary darkening and crusting of surface pigmentation.
DAY 3+:
• Flaking and sheet peeling starts. This should subside by day 6.
